Good, but not the same as my previous purchase

I ordered one of these for myself a while back and loved it! So did my father, so I bought him one for Christmas, but the second one wasn't quite as nice. The build quality was very good, but the leather wasn't. Where mine was beautiful Milwaukee leather with lots of color distortions and nuances, the second one was a bland uniform color (a much lighter color) with no nuance and didn't feel or look like the same quality as the first.
