We have the following leather finishes and colors: Horween Leather - Dublin (natural, chestnut, black), Chromexcel (natural, brown, green, blue ink) and Shell Cordovan (natural, navy); Crazy Horse leather - chocolate, brown, navy, red, wheat, greenish; Italian leather - brown, blue, cream, red; Caiman leather - black, cobalt, orange
Which type of leather is right for me?
If you are looking for distressed, vintage leather with a firm feel, you should go with Horween Dublin leather or Crazy Horse leather. If you prefer smooth and medium-soft leather with a glossy finish, then Horween Chromexcel leather is right for you. Italian leather is the most supple and is the right choice for those who is looking for soft leather. Shell Cordovan and Caiman leathers are the most expensive ones as well as they are the most durable.
What is the difference between Horween and Crazy Horse?
Horween leather is produced in the USA by the world-famous tannery. Crazy Horse leather is imported from Europe and is cheaper. Both types of leather are of high quality but Horween leather is more durable.
How would you recommend caring for the leather/cleaning leather?
Our products are made of naturally tanned leather that requires relatively little care. There is no need for frequent cleaning, and scratches or marks from daily wear and tear can be rubbed or polished out with a dry cloth. It only needs conditioning once or twice per year. Should your product get wet, remove any residual water immediately with a paper towel, pat loosely with paper and allow it to dry naturally. Please note that different leathers will wear differently and may change appearance over time.
Where are olpr. products manufactured?
All olpr. items are handmade in the USA in a small family workshop located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Do I have an option between lined paper, graph paper, or blank paper refill for leather journals?
All the refills for our leather covers come with lined paper. Unfortunately, we don’t have any other options for them. But it’s possible to order the cover only and use it with your own refill.
Can you engrave any of your leather journals?
Yes, any of our journals can be engraved
Do you make custom book covers?
We can make a custom cover for almost any book. But to be sure in measurements we need to have this book in hand. So if you send it to us, we will gladly make a custom cover for you.
Is it possible to have a wider inside flap, so it covers most of the inside cover?

Is it refillable? If so what kind is the paper notebook and where can I buy it?
All olpr. leather journals are refillable and can be reused with the same type of notebook. It is possible to order the refills on our website in the Notebook Refills section
Is the journal included?
All our leather journals come with one lined paper refill. It is also possible to order the additional refills on our website here
I don’t know my wrist size for the watch band how should I proceed with the order?
Measure your wrist with flexible tape measurements just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear the watch. That would be your wrist size. Then select the appropriate wrist size from our watch band size guide
Can you make the watch band for the bigger/smaller wrist?
Yes, it’s possible. You just need to specify your wrist size in a note at checkout
Is the watch band made with double-sided leather?
Yes, the watch band is made of two securely fastened pieces of leather
Are the aprons washable?
Washing is not recommended for the waxed canvas aprons, as it will breakdown the wax. Only a simple spot clean with just water or mild soap is allowed in this case. To keep the non-waxed canvas apron looking good, it is better to wash it by hand as little as possible, and in cold water. Air drying is best
Can you make custom sizes of table mats and how much they would cost?

What is the lead time for the products?
The majority of our products are made to order and it takes approximately 2 business days for handcraft. Some leather bags and backpacks are processed and dispatched within up to two weeks. If you place your order on a weekend, we will start working on it on Monday or on the next working day. Please note the processing time can take longer during busy periods, like the time before Christmas

What is the difference between engraving and embossing?
Embossing is the process of imprinting a design onto the leather with the help of press form while engraving is the process of burning a design into the leather with the help laser machine.
Can you engrave a company logo / custom art?
We can engrave a company logo or other custom art onto the leather. You will only need to provide the image in vector format. The best file is black and white in any of the format: .ai, .tiff, .eps, .pdf or .eps. The extra charge for logo engraving is 10 USD
Can I have both - name and logo engraved on my item?
Yes, it is possible. Please, contact us via email: email@example.com and we will make a custom order for you
What are the fonts available?
Only Arial font is available for the embossing. The engraving can be made in any of the following fonts: Corsiva, Segoe Script, Alberto Arial and Times New Roman
Are other than Arial font and font size options available for the embossing?
Only Arial size is available for embossing. Two size options are possible: up to 3 symbols - 36pt, 10mm - all UPPERCASE; 4 symbols and more - 24pt, UPPERCASE- 7mm; lower case 5mm
Can you add an engraving in bold/cursive?
Sure, we can
What is the character limit for engraving?
There are no character limits for the engraving
Is the font size adjusted as necessary or is it one size?
We have only two font sizes available for the embossing. In the case of engraving, the font can be adjusted to any size
What does the monogram look like?
The monogram is embossed onto the leather with Arial font. We offer 2 different font sizes - Large and Small. The Large size is 36pt or 10mm in height and the Small size is 24pt or 7mm in height. The Large size has a 3-character limit and is available in uppercase only. The small size has a 10-character limit and is available in both upper and lowercases
Is it possible to see a proof before the product is made/delivered?
It is possible. Please, contact us right after you make an order and we will send you a mockup before completion
Returns and Replacements
Can I return the item that I bought if I don't like it?
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of receipt. But custom and personalized items are considered a final sale. No returns or exchanges accepted. If something isn’t quite right with your personalized item, please contact us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or click here
I received a non-personalized item and would like to return or exchange it, what should I do?
If you have purchased non-personalized item you can return or exchange it within 14 days of receipt. We will provide you with an exchange or refund on the item once it returned to us. The item must have a proof of purchase and be in the same condition as when it was sent to you.
I received my order and the item was damaged. What should I do?
We are happy to help you with damaged items. Please email pictures, a brief description of the damage and your order number to our email: email@example.com. We will follow-up with next steps as soon as possible.
The item I received is a much lighter/darker color than in the picture, was I sent the wrong color?
There may be some variation due to the nature of genuine leather and natural dying techniques. Each and every leather item will be slightly different which contributes to its unique beauty.
The cover received looks mottled and uneven. While functional, the tanning on it is very blotchy. Is the item defective?
We use full grain leather to make our items. This leather type is tanned with soluble natural dyes and come with aniline finish, with no surface pigment or coating. This makes full grain hide the most natural-looking leathers, but also more susceptible to scratching, fading and staining. Natural grain pattern, color variation as well as skin irregularities are inherent in the leather and are considered to be part of the natural beauty of the material.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally. Standard shipping takes from 14 business days. You can also order express shipping for extra charge.
How long does shipping normally take?
Usually, shipping within US takes 3-5 business days. International shipping takes from 14 business days.
Is there any way to rush my order and have it delivered overnight?
You can order express or overnight delivery for an extra charge. Please, contact us to our email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, if it was already placed, or with the item you want to purchase and your zip code, and we will gladly provide express shipping options available.
Do I receive a note when the item is shipped? / How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number so that you can track your package.
Can I change/correct shipping address after the order is placed?
If you noticed incorrect address in your order, please, contact us via email email@example.com with the correct shipping address. If your order was not shipped yet we can still correct the address. If you have already received a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number, no changes can be applied.
Will I have to pay taxes and duties on my international order?
Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information.
