The watch band leather is so nice. I’ve gotten compliments from people saying it looks great. It feels good on my wrist. The wallet was the same exact layout as my old Levi’s wallet, so a very nice upgrade. At first, the Milwaukee leather looked like it had a “faux” look to it, but it’s been a couple weeks and it is breaking in really nicely. The waxed canvas is super soft on the inside too! I only have one critique: the leather paint on the watch band’s seams started to come off fairly quickly. It’s only on the part where the clasp rubs against it, and doesn’t take away from the look unless you look at it from the side. If I had a suggestion, it would be to offer a deployment clap so that the latch did not dig into the leather. Mine tends to leave a black line across the band in the spot where my latch closes. You can’t really see it until you take off the watch though. I hope to see some more items offered in the Horween leather in the future, especially the wallet. This watch band and wallet was definitely worth the investment, and I think they are going to last for a long time.

I had my initials placed in the bottom right corner…the leather has an aged look in a natural way….it is perfect for my Moleskine sketchbook…of which I have many…excellent craftsmanship…I would definitely recommend to anyone who has good taste and wants to protect their sketchbook….I will be ordering another and another….I would like to see other sizes especially for Moleskine watercolor as well…I would also recommend Blackwing pencils to add to the elegance of this product!!

This is my second purchase from olpr. and again my expectations have been met. I bought the Milwaukee Leather Midori Notebook Cover to use as my Commonplace Book, which is where I organize quotes, article/book/newsletter notes, and deeper reads related to work. This notebook is the perfect size for all that. If you're on the fence between olpr. and an Amazon or gift shop knock off, you won't regret choosing olpr.

Long term review; this sleeve was purchased in October 2024 and I have been using it daily in a variety of tough conditions. First, the construction of the vertical sleeve is top-notch and feels heavy duty. It is a beautifully crafted and well designed sleeve, but it is also durable and provides nice protection for my Mac. The leather is soft and has already taken on a nice patina. I found that even without a zipper, this sleeve still protects my Mac from drops or collisions; there is extra overhang on the open side the sleeve and I've found this keeps the Mac secure.
The wool liner helps keep everything clean as well and I've found the aluminum housing doesn't collect finger prints as badly when stored in the sleeve. The sleeve is also resistant to scrapes, scratches and damage. I've found if a zipper or something sharp rubs against the leather, it is easy to brush out, or I use otter wax leather salve to bring some life back to the leather.
I would buy this sleeve again for myself and future devices, but this is my top recommendation for others as well.
