Due to the handmade nature, this leather is subject to color change, sometimes it can be lighter / darker than in the picture as each hide reacts to the dyeing process differently. This leather comes with all natural markings and imperfections of the hide preserved. Also, when the surface of the hide is scratched or rubbed, the wax enhanced fibers are displaced and the piece changes color over time. It results in a particular pattern, unique to every item.

Excellent MBP Sleeve - Great color!

I recently bought this sleeve for my new MacBook Pro, and it's a beautiful sleeve - very well constructed, nice felt lining, and enough protection for my MBP without adding too much bulk. I can't speak to the fit yet, because my MBP hasn't arrived yet, but I don't doubt it will fit perfectly.

Now if only olpr offered more products in this blue!!

A Stitch in Time . . .

It is troubling that the single seam of stitches is already coming undone in one section of the sleeve. What if all the stitching wears out? My $2000 MacBook will go crashing to the floor! I believe a double seam of stitches might correct the flaw. Now I know why the sleeve was accompanied by an attractive and sturdy cloth bag (with the olpr logo printed on it).

Nice quality sleeve.

I am enjoying my leather sleeve. The quality of the leather is excellent and receiving many compliments. The only reason for not giving it more stars is the MacBook slips out very easily. It has slipped out a couple of times and fallen on floor. The felt lining is soft but makes this occur.
