Please Note

Due to the handmade nature, this leather is subject to changes in color, sometimes it can be lighter / darker than in the picture as each hide reacts to the dyeing process differently. This leather comes from the upper part of the cowhide, where the hide is the strongest, with all natural markings and imperfections preserved. This leather is of high quality, as it ages it develops a patina turning your particular piece to a one of a kind item with unique pattern and vintage look.

 
  • On the back of the mat you will see a grainy leather hide backside. Because of the granular structure, the back of the table mat lays firmly on the surface, preventing slipping. Usually our customers love that texture!
  • We ship table mats in rolls. With time the leather will flatten under its weight. Don't worry if it's not absolutely flat immediately after unpacking. You should know that shipping it flat is MUCH more expensive.

 

 

If you plan to purchase a set of table mat and a mouse pad it is better to do it in one order. This way we will use one hide to produce your items and they will be similar in color. Otherwise, the shade of items may vary slightly.

Personalization

We offer two types of personalization:

1. Debossing - the letters are imprinted on leather with the help of special mold. The debossing is free of charge for up to 3 letters. Our standard font is Arial UPPERCASE- 7mm high; lower case 5mm high. This is included in the cost of the product, please add the initials you would like at checkout. For mouse mats, the default location for debossing is at the bottom right corner on the front of the mat.

2. Engraving - the letters or image are carved onto the leather with the help of a laser machine. For an additional $10, If you need your logo engraved on the cover, please, attach the file in vector format at the checkout (.AI, .SVG, .PDF, .EPS) . We can also convert a file into vector format for an additional $15.

  • Logo Engraving: Default position for logo engraving is the bottom right corner.
  • Name Engraving: up to 12 characters. Default position for name engraving is the bottom right corner.

Great prodcut, but simple details overlooked

I ordered desk pad and mouse pad both same color-- they look great.
Except a couple details were overlooked:
1. mouse pad edge is 'painted ' finish, not like picture, where as desk pad is unfinished as shown in picture. As a result they do not match.
2. Also, tone of the leather is different between desk and mouse pad. I would have expected to have them made with same lot of leather, given site says pad are made to order.
Overall, great product, but simple details overlooked.
