Cover for this journal is made of full grain leather produced at Horween Tannery. Full grain refers to the leather pieces that come from the top part of the animal hide and are not sanded in the process of making. This type of leather is the most durable and strong.
The natural grain is fully preserved that is why leather surface displays small imperfections and markings of the animal skin. What makes this leather so popular and valued is its long-lasting nature, beautiful aging process and fine look.
