Leather used for production is Horween Chromexel full grain. Term full grain refers to cow skin produced from the grain side. It is not buffed (sanded) so natural grain pattern, including the skin imperfections of the animal, is visible on the leather surface.
Chromexel comes with aniline finish which allows the leather to continue to breathe making it the most natural looking. With years this leather absorbs oils and grease from being handled and develops natural patina.
